MISSION STATEMENT

The Test Development & Research Branch is responsible for the planning and coordinating of test development activities for all line agencies in the areas of clerical, law enforcement and public safety. The activities are also available to requesting autonomous and semi-autonomous agencies. Duties include, but are not limited to: scheduling and administering exams; grading of examination papers; conducting test validation studies in conformance with the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures; creating employment exams such as written and physical tests; and recording and maintaining examination records.

PUBLIC SAFETY TESTED POSITIONS

Fire Fighter Recruit, 911 Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Fire Fighter II, Fire Service Specialist, Fire Captain
